Windowpane (n., adj.)


A type of fabric pattern characterized by intersecting vertical and horizontal pinstripes.

The resulting squares are usually 1”x1”, 1.5”x1.5” or sometimes larger on fabrics for scarves, caps, et. al. Windowpane patterns can also be used for mens suits.
