A short-brimmed men’s hat that is characterized by an up-turned brim in the back and a pinched crown in the front so as to form a tear drop shape on the crown.
A trilby can be made from felt, straw, wool or tweed although felt is the most common. A trilby hat is not synonymous with a fedora.
