What problem am I referring to?
The one where your shirt never stays tucked in- even if you’ve tucked them into your underwear to get them to stay put!
Fortunately a company out there seems to have experienced the very same thing and have attempted to give us a solution.
RibbedTee is a company that I’ve worked with for a number of years and they have always sent me undershirts every so often.
The latest product they sent to me was not an undershirt but rather a pair of boxer briefs.
A revolutionary pair of underwear to be exact!
I’ve come across many boxer briefs but this pair from RibbedTee was unlike any that I’ve ever seen before. They actually had some unique rubber detail on each side.
These boxer briefs, aptly called STUCK had the rubber details for more than just aesthetic purposes. The rubber sides are designed in such a way that when you tuck in your dress shirt, the shirt immediately sticks to the rubber, making it less prone to getting unstuck!
I thought this was a cool innovation especially since I know firsthand that making dress shirts stay tucked in for an entire day can be quite a challenge. In fact, a few of you may even be familiar with the video that I’ve created on the subject called “How To Properly Tuck In Your Dress Shirt”.
In that video I talk about four different ways a man can tuck in his shirt. However, STUCK introduces a new way that I have not mentioned before. I can personally vouch that this new ways that they’ve come up with enhances the “tucking in” experience.
Allow me to get down to the nitty gritty about STUCK.
Admittedly I was sent a couple of pairs of STUCK which I then road tested by wearing each pair about ten times each before writing up my review.
Based on my experience the build quality of STUCK is excellent. These undies are made from 95% cotton and 5% spandex and have double stitching in them.
The choice of materials as well as the construction make STUCK very durable. Additionally it has to be mentioned that due to the excellent construction these undies have proven to be very comfortable that they’ve become my favorite pairs to wear.
It has to be said that STUCK is not as effective as shirt stays. Shirt stays have been used by the military and the police for years and are quite handy in keeping one’s shirt tucked in. However the downside to shirt stays is that many guys flat out refuse to wear them.
In the video on shirt tucking, I quickly mention that if shirt stays are not your thing then it is always possible to attempt the military tuck or the underwear tuck.
The beauty about STUCK is that it allows its wearer to augment both the military and the underwear tuck without having to use shirt stays. My experience with these boxer briefs is that they did help with keeping my dress shirt tucked in.
For the most part my STUCK boxer briefs have retained their overall quality. However, after ten washes I did notice that a little bit of the “adhesive” area started coming off.
The nice thing about the company and the actual owners of STUCK is that they provide excellent customer service.
I would not hesitate to contact the company to give feedback regarding the adhesive part coming off or other observations that I may have made regarding these undies.
Overall I am impressed with STUCK by RibbedTee. If you’ve had the same tuck in dilemma you should definitely check them out.
More importantly if you’ve tried STUCK yourself I’d love to hear your thoughts on them.
I guess that’s really all I have to say regarding these boxer briefs. If you found this post interesting then you may want to consider subscribing to the Real Men Real Style Youtube channel and gaining access to even more videos.
