Half-Windsor Knot

Half-Windsor Knot (n., adj.)

Also called a single Windsor knot, the half-Windsor knot is smaller than a full Windsor knot but larger than a four-in-hand knot.

The knot produced after tying is triangular, symmetrical and appropriate for all occasions.

The knot is best tied with a necktie made from a medium-weight fabric and worn with any dress shirt collar except a narrow collar.
