Before you write and submit your post for our review, here are some guidelines to boost your chances of approval.

Our focus is on providing men with useful, practical, helpful, actionable style information that brings benefits. Be an expert – it helps if you know what you’re talking about! Educate, teach and show people strategies to improve their wardrobe and lifestyle.
2nd – Make It Unique
We pride ourselves on offering content that’s different, fresh, or that presents a new angle on something that’s been said a million times before. Our audience knows that they won’t find content that’s been extensively covered on any other blog, and they expect us to bring them something new.
TIP – Do not be afraid to bring your personality into the post – all of us have a unique view!

Our name is Real Men Real Style – everything we publish has to fall under this and what it entails. Take time to read some recent posts in our archives to get a good feel for the type of education we provide.
YOU get to choose the topic – just make sure it works with the theme of Real Men Real Style!
4th – It Must Be Well-Written
We focus on high-quality content that offers strong value for readers. Our audience relies on us to accept only the best. Posts need to demonstrate good command of language, grammar, punctuation, clarity, style and tone. Run your content through a spell check, and try to catch all the typos. Edit your post well, and rewrite it a few times. It’s a good idea to set your post aside for a day or two and come back to it with fresh eyes to make it really shine.
Your post may be also be edited prior to publication for quality or clarity. Please don’t be offended if we make changes that improve your post even more. Make sure you have a strong introduction that hooks readers and draws them in. Use good structure and formatting. Sub-headers and bullet points or strong impact statements help our audience read your awesome content .
Have a well-rounded wrap-up. We’ve noticed that the conclusion is one of the most neglected areas of guest posts. Please end your post well and summarize with a good bang that encourages conversation and commentary.
Other Things You’ll Need to Know
- Our audience are primarily regular men in the early stages of building a wardrobe. We do not target male models or chase the winds of fashion.
- Include a small paragraph crediting yourself as author. Make it fun and interesting, and go ahead – include a link to your site.
- We like internal linking, so please include a link or two to a relevant post on our blog. You may also link out to other relevant posts on the ‘net if you’d like – but no more than three links, please.
- Affiliate links in your post are not permitted.
- I won’t link to a site I can’t support or a site that is deceptive as to what it’s about. No link farms, loan sharks, or cat jugglers.
- Photos – it’s great if you have your own but if not we can find some. They should be good quality and free from copyright. Please don’t just take from the web.
- Submit your trial post via the form below – and only the form below.
- Please credit all sources, assets and use common sense.
- Your post must be original work that hasn’t been offered or published elsewhere.
- A guest post is a gift that you give away. If your article is accepted, you grant a license for Real Men Real Style to be the exclusive publisher. You may republish extracts – for example, on your own site – but the article in its entirety should not appear elsewhere.
- If your article is accepted, you consent to the full article, extracts, samples or examples appearing in other Real Men Real Style products and/or services. Don’t worry – we’ll credit you as author.

We limit your first post to less than 1000 words and ask you to have it “ready to go live” minus any links or pictures (which we can add later if approved) to keep every one on the same level. Also, in the form let us know a little about who you are and please provide a link to your site or your blog.
